Soulbound Flashback
Hiccup stretched out with a yawn and let himself flop back onto the grass. It was only the beginning of October, but the leaves were already turning to beautiful vibrant reds and golds. Autumn was already his favorite time of the year.
He didn’t have any after school activities, so he hadn’t been surprised when Jack had asked to hang out together after classes. But he had been almost…jittery the entire day. Like he was really nervous about something. Hiccup couldn’t put his finger on it, so he decided to just wait. Jack would come out soon, to their favorite tree in the park. After all, it had been where they met so many years ago.
