This soulmeld draws on the soul energy of spellcasters, increasing the damage of damaging spells by a single point (in the case of magic missile and other spells that damage multiple targets, only one takes the extra damage). Each point of essentia invested in this soulmeld increases the bonus damage by 1 (following the same rules as above).

When bound to the shoulders, your damaging spells are accompanied by a burst of raw incarnum, forcing the target to make a fortitude save or be dazed for one round.

Vitality Belt

“Incarnum forms a stout metallic belt that girds your waist. The metal gleams blue-silver; links of azure chain bind the plates together. Life and health well up from your body.” Magic of Incarnum p.92

While this soulmeld is shaped, you gain a +4 bonus on constitution and constitution based checks (but not saves). Each point of essentia invested in this soulmeld grants you extra hitpoints equal to your meldshaper level (these are not temporary hitpoints and it is possible to incapacitate or even kill yourself by reallocating essentia from this soulmeld).

When this soulmeld is bound to the waist, you become immune to constitution damage and constitution drain.

Strongheart Vest

“A heavy web belt of cyan energy wraps around your torso. When you wear it, you feel energized and revitalized. When you are struck by an attack that would damage your ability scores, a wave of incarnum energy passes through you, blunting the effectiveness of the attack.” Magic of Incarnum p.89

When subject to an attack that deals ability damage, reduce the ability damage you take by 1, +1 for each point of essentia invested in this soulmeld.

When bound to the waist, this soulmeld also resists ability drain, at the same rate as ability damage.

When bound to the heart, you gain immunity to energy drain attacks and death effects.

Dissolving Spittle

“Incarnum forms a blue-green torc around your neck. The ends of the torc resemble copper or black dragons facing each other in front of your throat. A constant bitter taste floods your mouth, but it seems to make the flavor of certain foods more enjoyable-particularly well cooked meat.” Magic of Incarnum p.64 

This soulmeld is generally associated with chaotic or evil incarnates, but can be shaped by any. As a standard action while this soulmeld is shaped, you may spit a glob of acid (ranged touch attack) to deal 1d6 damage. 

Each point of essentia invested in this soulmeld increases damage dealt by this attack by 1d6. When bound to the throat, the acid created by this soulmeld persists, dealing damage again a round later.

Apparition Ribbon

“A diaphanous scarf wraps around your neck, its ends trailing off into wispy tendrils that seem to follow or mimic the movement of your arms.” Magic of Incarnum p.57

This soulmeld grants benefits against incorporeal entities, making your attacks more likely to hit and increasing your ability to damage them.  While this soulmeld is shaped, when you miss due to the incorporeality of an enemy, you may reroll your percentile miss chance to see if you hit.  Each point of essentia invested in this soulmeld increases your damage against incorporeal creatures by 2.

When this soulmeld is bound to your throat, you may use it to become incorporeal for short periods of time, gaining all the benefits of the subtype and a deflection bonus to your AC equal to your charisma modifier.  This lasts for 1 round, +1 per point of essentia invested in this soulmeld.  Essentia cannot be reallocated to or from this soulmeld while this effect is being used. You can be incorporeal through this ability for a total number of rounds each day equal to your meldshaper level. Be careful not to end your incorporeality inside other objects, as you will be damaged and forcibly thrown out of them.

Wind Cloak

“A gauzy cloak of incarnum settles over you, swirling about you as a gentle breeze blows through your hair.  A stirring of air at your feet disturbs nearby dust.” Magic of Incarnum p.92

This soulmeld creates a swirling cloak of incarnum around you, lessening the power of ranged attacks against you.  While shaped, this soulmeld grants you DR2/magic against ranged attacks.  Each point of essentia invested in this soulmeld increases the DR by 2.

When bound to the shoulders, the mantle can deflect arrows (as the feat), up to 1 per point of essentia invested.  Unlike the feat, no motion or free hand is required of the user, since the cloak itself redirects the missiles.

Therapeutic Mantle

“A sheath of incarnum energy surrounds your body and is slowly absorbed into your skin. As healing magic is applied to you, the affected area sparkles with blue motes.” Magic of Incarnum p.89

This soulmeld increases the amount healed (to you) by magical means, adding the level of the spell to healing granted.  Each point of essentia invested increases the additional healing by 2 points.

When bound to your shoulders, this soulmeld increases the efficacy of healing magic you cast, increasing your caster level by 1 per point of invested essentia for spells of the healing subschool.

Pauldrons of Health

“Incarnum shapes heavy plates of armor that hover above your shoulders. They seem formed of pearly white alabaster except for a thin band of runic carvings in midnight blue.” Magic of Incarnum p.81

This soulmeld, like lifebond vestments and therapeutic mantle, draws on the nature of incarnum, granting life and health to mortal flesh.  While this soulmeld is shaped, you are immune to disease (magical and not) and cannot be nauseated or sickened.  Each point of essentia invested in this soulmeld grants you a bonus on fortitude saves.

When bound to the shoulders, this soulmeld makes the wearer immune to energy drain as well.
