Samantha & Ben’s Lord of the Rings Themed Wedding June 23, 2017, was held at Morningside Inn a country wedding venue in Frederick, Maryland. The couple had 120 wedding guests for their Friday evening wedding ceremony and reception.
Wedding Ceremony
Before Samantha & Ben’s Lord of the Rings Themed Wedding June 23, 2017, the bridal party arrived a couple hours before the wedding ceremony to prepare in the bride’s room. At Morningside Inn the bride’s room is actually a large makeup room and a sitting room. These adjoining rooms provide plenty of space and mirrors for the bridal party to make their final touches to gowns and makeup. Samantha chose a gorgeous wedding bouquet with an assortment of pink, red, and lavender flowers.
The groomsmen prepared in the groom’s room that also is equipped with lots of large mirrors. The groom and his party took photographs on the side lawn and driveway, just steps from the groom’s room entrance. The layout at Morningside ensures there is no chance of the groom gaining a peak of the bride before the wedding ceremony.
Wedding Reception
The dining room tables were decorated with white linens and topped with solid dark green linen. Their tables were named after different town in the Shire and each decorated a lantern, flower pot, and Tolkien inspired bookmark party favor. The couple chose a buffet dinner for their wedding guests. Chef Tim prepared special plates for vegetarian guests. The white wedding cake displayed above two tiers of delicious cupcakes. The bride made the cake topper which was a super cute clay hobbit version of the couple. The couple cut their wedding cake with an elven sword.

Dinner and reception followed the wedding ceremony in the main building. The couple enjoyed the privacy and quiet of 300 acres during the ceremony and reception.
The wedding was decorated in pink and white. Love was in the air and on display with many framed love quotes such as “you are my happily ever after”. The bridesmaids relaxed as they prepared for the ceremony in the spacious bride’s room. Beautiful flowers graced the wedding pavilion, dinner tables, and wedding party bouquets. A violinist played as guests found their seats for the ceremony. The couple enjoyed a perfect spring day.

Ashley & Chad’s Wedding, June 25, 2017 was held at Morningside Inn wedding and reception venue located in Frederick, Maryland. Their outdoor wedding ceremony was held on the pavilion. Dinner and reception followed the ceremony in the spacious Morningside Inn building.
The wedding was decorated in baby blue and white. The bridesmaids were pampered with monogramed bags and baby blue “Team Bride” t-shirts. The flower girl also wore a custom “Flower Girl” pink t-shirt. Guests penned best wishes on custom wood plank in place of a guest book. Wine bottles held table numbers during dinner and a mojito bar with fresh fruit was provided for guests during the reception as a special drink. Gorgeous flowers decorated dinner tables, ceremony chairs and pavilion.
