Okay last post of the night then I'm going to knock myself out some how, I may have put a playlist together for The Assistant and it's still growing.

during last episode, in the tarlos scene, after TK first says that he's on board with whatever Carlos needs to say to his parents, the music seems to change (becomes maybe somehow louder, intence, I'm not sure how to describe it), I'm pretty sure we've already heard that motive/melody/music at some point in the show but can't remember when exactly, maybe you do?

You’re absolutely right, the music does change in that moment. I think your description is pretty good: it definitely gets louder and a bit more upbeat.

It’s actually funny that you sent this because I was thinking about that when I was rewatching the episode last night. It is a sound mixing trick they’ve used before, usually to indicate the shift in a tense situation. I can’t remember them all but the moment when they are completing the rescue with the two friends in the ride share in 1x06 comes to mind.

I think there are more of them because it feels too familiar to have only been twice, but that’s the best I can do without going back and rewatching all the episodes, unfortunately. If any one else happens to recall any of the others, maybe let us know in the replies?

Every time I listen to this track, I picture it as a soundtrack to Rhiannon Lassiter’s Hex Trilogy. The trilogy in of itself was suppose to be made into a film, yet there hasn’t been any recent updates about it for awhile. Hopefully we’ll hear something soon.
