Robert and Tracy caught in the toilets up to no good together in Emmerdale!

There’s a weird twist in the tale for John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) in Emmerdale.

John died during a scuffle with sister Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) when she fought for her life and stabbed him in the neck with one of his own needles. A poetic nod to how he killed Nate and started this whole mess.

Victoria and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) learn that John’s death is ruled a suicide, and Vic is off the hook, not that she feels it in any way.

So Karma got him, he’s dead, but those left behind still want their revenge.

Tracy Shankley  in particular wants her piece of the maniac medic, given that he killed her husband and tried to frame her for it.

So, when she gets her hands on John’s ashes, she knows exactly what to do with them – pour them down the bog so that he can float in the sewer like the scum he once was.

Robert is keen for this little venture and follows Tracy into the loos to watch the ceremonial dumping happen.

Victoria learns that Robert left the bar with Tracy and the urn and heads off to find them, and grabs Aaron Dingle for support.

Victoria is utterly shocked and disgusted to find Tracy and Robert squeezed into the cubicle preparing to pour John down the toilet. Will she try and stop them?

Spoilers Emmerdale revisits Aaron and Robert’s marriage as he makes confession

Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) has been somewhat surprised by his feelings for John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) in Emmerdale.

The two characters met earlier this year at the side of a road. A glamourous place, but John only flagged Aaron down because he needed to borrow someone’s phone to contact a garage about his broken van.

As much as John would be reluctant to admit it, he’s actually settling in quite well in the village. He’s got a new job at the surgery, is learning more about Vic and in upcoming episodes, takes a surprising step with Aaron…are they even at boyfriend status yet?!

Coming up, Aaron reluctantly opens up to John about his ex-husband Robert Sugden – aka John’s half brother.

Aaron and Robert’s romance storyline was hugely loved by many, many Emmerdale fans. Things came to a devastating end for them when Robert went to prison for Lee Posner’s death.

During the conversation between them, John continues to press Aaron about his feelings. Troubled by how much he’s opened up, a defensive Aaron storms out.

Despite the reaction, this clearly marks progress between the two characters.

What’s next as their relationship continues to blossom?

Emmerdale’s Danny Miller reveals huge Aaron and John wedding twists will ‘blow your minds’

It’s the story that has Emmerdale fans talking – and that’s just how ITV soap star Danny Miller likes it.

Currently, the alter-ego of the 34-year-old is oblivious, with Aaron Dingle having no idea of the dark secrets of hero complex driven husband-to-be John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).

Over the years, we have seen Aaron at the forefront of some high-octane, heavily emotional material but being on the periphery is new territory, the actor told Metro in a recent exclusive interview.

‘I’ve enjoyed of finding ways of playing an oblivious Aaron, as he doesn’t know who John really is. It’s refreshing to talk about now as the audience finally know about it.

‘But having to play Aaron ignore all the red flags, it’s nice not to be inquisitive and to be in the dark. Somewhere down the line, it’s bound to come out, but we don’t know when.’ 

It’s especially great for fans to be in on a secret that Aaron doesn’t know, Danny agrees – even if some do stop him when he’s out to warn him.

But there’s much more to come. Danny and Oliver have known the general trajectory of John’s nature for some time but, as a wedding approaches, certain truths may come to light.

Wedding joy – or wedding doom?

It’s going to be explosive and format-breaking, the star – who returned after a five-year hiatus – promised.

‘I have never been a part of a story like this where it’s gone on for so long that Aaron has been oblivious while the audience get the full detail and I watch with interest to see what happens. 

‘It’s a typical soap wedding, I guess. ‘There are a lot of surprises along the way, it’s not a normal wedding in terms of it being straight-forward; it’s very different.

‘They decided to show a new way of how we tell stories, to try and keep up with Netflix and Amazon and these brilliant dramas being made. So it’s a bit of a special episode,  there are a fair few surprises, a couple that are huge and a couple that people will really enjoy – and some that people won’t!

‘It’s good to get people talking. There are some really big moments in there that will blow the audience’s minds. To be a part of that is amazing.’

Viewers know that John has orchestrated a number of situations that have put lives on the line, to then go on to save them. But, when it came to Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), he was unable to reverse it, and he then had to dispose of a body.

As for whether this will come to light at the wedding, or if John might even kill again, remains to be seen, but it’s evident that both Danny and Oliver are going to be very busy.

Congratulations are in order!

Not that Danny has much time to wind down. He and wife Steph recently announced her pregnancy and the proud dad to two children, Albert, 3, and Edith, 2, couldn’t be more thrilled to be welcoming a third addition into the fold.

‘It’ll amazing to be a family of five. It’s nice to have that addition, the family is growing. It’s a lovely feeling to have another on the way.

‘It’s a lot different for me now, I don’t have time to worry about unwinding because the kids are very good at doing that.

‘I get home, they’re happy to see me, we have a little play about, throw them about a bit, get them in the bath and into bed. We’ll have our tea and then, before you know it, I’ve got to be learning lines. Then it’s 6am and I’m off to work again!

‘It’s nice not to have time on my own anymore, it helps to shut out any emotional stuff out that’s going on with work. Leave that where it is, which I was never really good at doing but which I am much better at.’

‘It wouldn’t be my decision to go’

And as for Emmerdale? Hopefully we have Aaron for years to come – certainly, if he has his way, that will be the case.

‘Do you know what, I love this job more than I ever have. To be able to raise a family on the back of this amazing show with such incredible people.

‘It certainly wouldn’t be my decision for Aaron to leave or have a break ever again. I just adore it; I wouldn’t ever want to leave again, off my own back.

‘It’s just trying to live each day and each year’s contract by exactly that and hope they ask me to stay.’

Emmerdale spoilers: Terrified Chas Dingle pushes Aaron to have cancer check after shock revelation

Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) was recently rocked to discover that she has breast cancer in Emmerdale. Because her mum, Faith (Sally Dexter) – and Faith’s Aunt Flossie – died of breast cancer she got tested to see if she had the BRCA2 gene.

In episodes to be aired soon she gets the news that she does have the faulty gene.

Even worse, it means that her brothers Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Caleb (William Ash) and her son Aaron (Danny Miller) could well have the gene too – meaning they’re also at higher risk of breast cancer (which can affect men as well as women) and could pass the gene to their children, too.

Chas is most worried about Aaron. The two have recently become closer as Aaron has apparently decided to put his bad behaviour behind him and focus on his mum.

Chas pushes him to make an appointment to be referred for a gene test. Aaron is left uncomfortable by the pressure Chas is putting on him and tries to deflect her when she brings the subject up.

In the Woolpack the Dingles are all busy having conversations about the BRCA2 gene and what it might mean for various family members.

Ruby (Beth Cordingly) overhears and insists that Caleb tells her what they’re talking about – because she hates to be excluded from any drama.

As poor Chas looks on, mortified, an argument is soon underway between Ruby and Caleb, to the point where Cain feels he has to get involved to try to calm things down.

Caleb agrees they should take the argument outside, but Ruby won’t budge and soon Cain ends up with a knee in the groin as a reward for his diplomatic work.

In the back room Lydia (Karen Blick) and other members of the family try to support Chas, who is worried about Aaron, and is scared for what the future might hold.

They agree that finding the lump early has given her the best chance of a good recovery.

But will Aaron also give himself the best chance by getting tested?
