avative
An avative is an introject of a character, or is based on a character, and sees that character as themself to some extent, but isn't fully sourced from them. The connection between an avative and their source is like how you would think of someone on a forum who used a certain character as their avatar and display name, talked about that character frequently, and had a lot of traits in common with them, such that people often equated them with that character, but the user with that avatar was also their own distinct person apart from the character in question. The word "character" in terms of the source of an avative can be altered to refer to real life personages as well as fictional ones, or possibly even other types of media (e.g. a famous painting of a person), as long as it's something you can think of a person as "being" in some way. Avatives may or may not consider themselves fictives or semi-fictives. They might look like their sources in headspace or have appearances inspired by their sources. An avative will, however, consider a certain character/person/etc. to be their "source", or to be something very much like a source, and will identify with that character/etc. in a way that they consider sourcing or introjection.
