Indian Ocean Humpback Dolphin Sousa plumbea
It occupies coastal areas ranging from Southern Africa to Western Indochina. Indian Ocean humpback dolphins are social delphinids that live in groups averaging twelve individuals. The majority of their diet is composed of sciaenid fishes, cephalopods, and crustaceans.

Friends from Australasia
Here's some fun little illustrations I made recently. They'll be used in scientific publications from a scientist and a student at the University of Wollongong in Australia. Most of the species they needed I had illustrated before, spare these three. They are quite rough as they will only be used at very small size in figures. A fun break from the watercolour commission!
Sousa: Is five a lot of followers?
Daisy: Depends on the context.
Daisy: On Instagram? No, not a lot of followers.
Daisy: In a dark alley? Yes, a lot of followers.
Daisy: *hanging upside down*
Sousa: ...
Daisy: oh no! I hope no one gives me the spiderman kiss! I won't even be able to- move out of the way if they did...
Sousa: ...
Daisy: Oh what a shame! If someone had kissed me right now! Ughhh!
Sousa: ...
Daisy: I hope a strong, handsome man doesn't come here and kiss me!
Sousa: *walks over and kisses*
Skye: *Utterly disgusted*

can we just talk about the fact that sousa saw daisy and went “i’m following her”.
he didn’t know her. he had no context. he didn’t even know she has powers. and yet he immediately imprinted on her like a duckling. like “yup this one is the safe one i like this one.”
and the best part? it was believable. because i, like sousa, would follow daisy anywhere with absolutely NO context.
and then there’s daisy, who hasn’t given herself the metaphorical time of day in years because she’s so caught up in the insanity her friends experience on a daily basis that she doesn’t even particularly process that The New Guy is following her around until episode 9 when she has to get stuck in a time loop.
say what you want about this show, but that whole plot line was excellent. a very subtle not-so-subtle way of reminding daisy that she’s fucking awesome.
