Soooo I finally broke down and bought an Instant Pot. I’ve been so resistant because I’m addicted to kitchen gadgets and I have way too many. But I broke. This is the Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer 8 quart. The thing that got me was it has a sous vide function and I have been wanting to get the sous vide gadget. My take so far... their manual is horrible!!!!! There’s no detailed instructions on what temp/time to cook things. I looked online for instant pot sous vide and it pulled up a lot but none of them were for my model. They were using the regular pressure cooker button because there’s didn’t have a sous vide function. Needless to say I was quite angry. I called customer service twice and gave up both times because it was over 20 minute hold time. Anywhoooo I ended up just using the steam function and they did turn out pretty and they tasted great. I learned don’t put tomatoes on the bottom because they moisture flattens the tops. Recipe: 4 eggs 1/2 cup cottage cheese 1/2 cup Cotija cheese 1/2 cup mushrooms 1 cup spinach 1 green onion Salt/pepper Steam in instant pot 10 minutes let vent naturally.
