He started by saying the US had a proud history of welcoming new legal migrants, but that the immigration system had been "badly broken for a very long time".
A lot of dialogue enters behind the scenes between our representatives and trump’s posse. The negotiation proposed was designed to make the Democrat body look bad and unreasonable in light of events, but that 5.7 billion is a kick in the gut. Again, this sum isn’t dissolved into border security, that 5.7 BILLION FOR A WALL, and a money pit at that.
This also puts into perspective if there are other issues that trump labels as “National crisis to the American people”, he will again shut down the government. Securing a job within the federal field is no longer stable, it is a ticking time bomb. Do not doubt trump will not take it upon himself to exercise his blundering dictatorship again. If the Democrats “give him what he wants” he will view that as a win and reasonable part of his arsenal if he chooses to enact some sort instantaneous drastic change in our Nation. His supporting aids have even warned him that our future Democrat President could use such methods, since we are seeing this impact now. trump has very little care, as he only lives in the now - he lacks foresight, and vision.
It is a very dangerous time for our House of Representatives, and they must be extremely caution how they respond to this sentient diapers demands. Their negations cannot sway on the side of erroneous or these decisions will throw us into an economic drought. Because trumps skills for language and hyper fixation are so deadly, he does not understand what he is asking for or how to properly negotiate the language.
That is why we have a shutdown. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. THIS. IS. NOT. NORMAL.

But these few workers site that during Obama’s era, the government shutdown was anticipated and prepared for in advance. They at least saw a paycheck, and it did not last too long to erode their personal lives. We take for granted what Obama was trying to secure for the Nation, affordable healthcare - he didn’t even secure fully what was demanded. BECAUSE PEOPLE WOULD HAVE BEEN HURT. That is the difference between a leader, and negotiator. Mr. Obama and his support knew this was not the best course of action, but he believed working people should have healthcare that was affordable. And the government made preparations so that in the duration of the shutdown, the federal workers would not be drastically affected.
Currently our federal workers are in the belief this shutdown will last MONTHS or even YEARS. There is a gross lack of competence and communication, and lives are being dismantled over a tantrum.
The Democrats are making reasonable negotiations, and want the money for this “crisis at the South border” spent on actual methods to prevent illegal immigrants and criminals from entering. Whether that does entail a wall in some areas, or better technology such as drones, or perhaps seismic equipment to detect abnormal vibrations where tunnels may be planted - who i to say. The Dems want the DHS and border agents to work closely on this, to better understand where our weaknesses are.
But shoveling 5.7 Billion into the open gaps in the South border will be a gross misuse of financing, and it will blatantly ignore actual threats.
