Ive been doing some spinning. I wanted to wait for my espinner to be free (still finishing up a project on it) but decided, fuck that, will spin at least a little on a supported spindle.
This is maybe 5 grams of southdown. The white is corriedale which tbh i have mostly been removing bc I don't like how that looks.
Southdown is hard to get even, esp in a prep like this--it basically needs to be combed if you want to be able to spin it evenly. But I think the fuzziness is part of its charm.
Unrelated, but i rly wish the tip of this spindle was thinner. Its a little hard to spin. I am considering working on it but tbh I just dont want to. So I'm going to see if i cant get used to it.
