How would Jared and Stellan react to our writings and art on them?

I know how they reacted to kami-ships-it’s art. 

I know @alyeen1 got Stellan to sign her Valoris print of my art. He was in a hurry but at least, um, he saw it. ;-P

As for Jarllan specifically, I know how Allegra reacted to it.

That said, I don’t know how they would react. To me it’s enough that we get some serious fan service whenever they meet. According to what they say about each other in interviews and @stellan-pip-69‘s awesome find from the bluray, they enjoy each other’s company very very much.

We know Stellan is a hugger. We know he cooked for Jared. We know they drank together. Enough said.

Someone on Insta suggested I should be doing Inktober or maybe they thought I was doing Inktober (or rather, 3Dober) because of the Valoris wedding rings I posted there.

I can’t do contests or challenges, lately I can’t even do big bangs and art trades. I’m behind my anon asks and fics.

But if I coincidentally post wedding rings on Inktober’s “Ring” day then it must be karma, right?

Hi! I've just crawled back into the Chernobyl fandom at the right time and discovered you. A little bit of a daft question, but how do you feel with Chernobyl as a TV show getting its best Television Limited series award? Along with Stellen's best actor in a supporting role award, of course.

“Crawled back”, you mean you were into Chernobyl, then left, then came back? That’s wonderful news, btw me and some others were wondering if the Globes would earn “Chernobyl” new fans. 

But getting old fans back is even better.  d ^^ b

Well. Suffice to say I DIDN’T anticipate Stellan’s award. Ok here’s what I posted before the Globes. 

See, back when “Chernobyl” got an Emmy for Best Director and Best Limited Series, for a nanosecond I was super disappointed for three reasons:

1) Jared didn’t get an award

2) Stellan didn’t get an award

3) The cameras never showed us the Jared/Johan and the Stellan/Johan kiss.

Of course my disappointment didn’t last more than that nanosecond because right after getting the “sad” news, THIS is what I saw:

So like, when neither of your favourite Soviet grandpas get the award, you lay back, put your feet on the desk and your hands behind your head and you’re like “You know what? I don’t care. I got my fan service, I’m cool.”

Basically I stopped hoping, and sometimes not hoping (since you can’t change the outcome anyway) is the best solution. Not hoping = not worrying.

No, I didn’t expect Stellan to win. In my opinion he was too European, too white, too generic, too famous to get a Golden Globe. Besides he had lost the Emmy, plus he didn’t care and it shows, I’m sure he didn’t chase party after party to get people to vote him.

Obviously he deserved every ounce of that award.

But how I felt when his name was read from that envelope? I just couldn’t believe my ears. I was S-C-R-E-A-M-I-N-G.

As for “Chernobyl” getting the Best Limited Series award, well IT’D BETTER WIN. From all the other limited series that were nominated I’ve only watched three episodes of Fosse Verdon tbh so I can’t make any comparisons. But from what I saw, Fosse Verdon was... eh. I love Bob Fosse and I was dying to see his life in a TV series but the emotion in it was not that devastating to me. “Chernobyl” is a wrecking ball and a work of art, as perfect as a diamond. You can’t walk out of a show like that unscathed. 

To me awards mean nothing much, I can’t monetize them if you know what I mean. What I do gain from it all is watching new people discovering the series because of those awards, and welcoming new fans. 

And the only thing I can hope for now is to see Jared and Stellan work together again.

I was totally seething that they didn’t get to take any “happy” pics together dressed as their characters. This is all we got - Stellan in his Hawaiian shirt as if straight out of “Mamma Mia”. Not very Soviet-like if you ask me.

Okkkkk even more people, I rest my case. Jesus fucking Christ, lose that crew nao. Lose them. We don’t need them.

I did find two pics that are okayish but our Soviet boys are not smiling to each other - or us. Not even close to each other.

And btw I found these two adorable pics of Jared that were taken while he was filming “Chernobyl” (June 2018 to be precise) where you can see he already has Valery’s (dyed) hair and that adorable Legasovian baby fat.
