A card design for the bird sanctuary I volunteer in🪿

The charity fair took place on Saturday the 20th and it was so much fun (and a challenge for the volunteers). I was one of the two people responsible for taking care of the european honey buzzard named Kashtan (Chestnut). He's missing one eye due to an infection and he's one of the ambassador birds in the sanctuary. Silly little guy with a really tame personality (we love him dearly). Also there was Don Pipa (the greylag goose), Nafanya (the boreal owl) and a couple of other birds, mainly magpies💙

This beautiful hunting dog constellation pin from @sovietpostcards arrived at my door today. It was actually delivered while my dad and I happened to be watching the Westminster dog show as they were presenting the sporting group and talking about all the different ways each breed helps hunt. We’ve only ever watched the dog show that happens on thanksgiving before, so the timing was actually kinda insane and maybe spooky.

Thank you Katya, it was so nice to finally get something from you after following your blog for over a decade! ✨🐶✨🐶✨
