favorite thing about them: he is a big disaster. like. a walking caution sign. what a dork i LOVE HIM

least favorite thing about them: sometimes he's a little too much of a shit or a bit overly obtuse and i'm like alright clint pull yourself together stop being Like That lmao

favorite line: i LOVE how in fraction/aja hawkeye in like the first issue, he finds lucky, and at first he's like oh hey dog! anyway bye dog and by the time he's at the vet after lucky gets hurt he says "fix. the. dog." or something close to that and i juST.... i think it's SUCH a great introduction to him and who he is (in addition to the whole rest of that storyline lol)

random headcanon: clint has to be told over and over again to stop treating lucky so much like a person because in spite of how much a part of the family he is, there is in fact a limit to what dogs can tolerate of people things (and also, clint, people are going to look at you weird)

unpopular opinion: idk just ~how~ unpopular this is but the mcu did clint barton dirty. as he was included in more movies, they had this incredible source material to work with/integrate, right? and he has this fun, goofy, loving personality in the comics and what did the films make him?? a cardboard assassin? a mess of characterization no movie could agree upon (tho that's an issue most characters had)? i read the comics and i'm like my god i love this man and i watch the movies and i'm like excuse me who is this? i do not recognize him
