EVERY TIME that he blinked it felt almost like being punched in the eye again. The pain almost too great to ignore and that speaks volumes on just how hard Nathan hit him and hit people in general. The bully put his entire soul into his strikes like every person had been whomever made him the way that he was but none of that mattered as soon as Alyssa placed her palm against a pale hand belonging to the Mad  Scientist. 

  ‘ You do good every week by just being yourself, Lys — as corny as that sounds. You’re fair and kind – and loyal . What more could anyone ask from you? ‘ He’d say, his head turning to face her as a small smile had formed before finally his head moved to fall in the direction of her own as he sighed with absolute content. ‘ I’m glad you’re here too, Lys. I mean that – and hey, I’ll always be here and —–  I promise to be more careful but, only if you tell me about what you are reading! It looks Juicy .  ‘ He added with a giggle hoping to add a little light to the otherwise dark topic.

Needed some normality. As if, the week wasn’t a complete shit show. ❛ but thanks, sometimes we all need a corny Warren line. ❜ She took a moment - just to enjoy the others company. He was cute when he smiled, even if he was hurt right now. All Alyssa wanted to do was fix all the bruises - and beat Nathan up - but there was no chance of that happening. Alyssa didn’t have a death wish. Her parents couldn’t afford to get her a lawyer - or afford her to lose her scholarship. As he promised to be more careful if she showed him the book she was reading before. 

 ❛well, that’s a D E A L, it’s not like I’m ashamed of this book choice. I was reading THE TIME MACHINE by H.G. Wells for like the fifth time. I just love that novel. it’s an all time favourite. ❜ she moved her free hand to pick up the book. it was battered - every page had been turned, but it was still very much loved by its owner. She passed it to her fellow nerd.

ALYSSA HAS TWO VERY HAPPY PARENTS. They’re always there to support their daughter - but Alyssa always finds their happiness to be weird. When you attend Blackwell coming home to two happy parents who are perfectly normal is rather strange. Since Alyssa doesn’t have a dorm room on campus - I’ve decided her parents live in Arcadia Bay and simply can’t afford to board. They have a little house, alyssa is an only child and it’s just her parents and her. Alyssa’s room is filled with paintings and drawings. Her parents gave her complete freedom over the design. Alyssa’s parents are concerned about their daughter’s lack of real life friends. Often Alyssa spends her time talking to people online as she finds it easier.

                    caulfield, oh what a surprise; it’s alyssa. the photographer isn’t the type that was circulating the video, but even she wasn’t crazy enough to stop victoria. she’d done what she could, sure, but it obviously hadn’t been enough. she notices the clenched fist, but not even alyssa is that stupid. it’ll get her suspended for sure, among other things. the words don’t seem to bother maxine in the least, and as she finishes her little rant meant to ping at empathy in the photographer, her eyes roll.        ❛ you’re blaming this on me when it’s really kate’s fault, i mean… she’s never been drunk before, but that’s really no excuse. i took down videos but clearly it wasn’t just that as what made her jump. there’s usually other things going on too, so why don’t you back off? ❜

Alyssa was taking the loss of kate hard. She knew kate would be preaching something about peace or forgiveness, she knew kate wouldn’t agree with her actions - but she just couldn’t hold it in anymore. Principle Wells wasn’t doing anything.

BODY LANGUAGE. The two teens have been friends long enough to pick up on such a thing if ever a situation presented itself and this one was no different. The moment that her arms would cross over her chest , Warren moved to focus his eyes upon the ground once more just waiting for HOW she was going to call him out on his bullshit and she did not disappoint. 

He chuckled, softly — sadly even while he tried to ignore the sharp pain around his eye. ‘ Lys… it IS some serious shit. NATHAN , that — you know, he got what he deserved. I was just trying to help Max ,  that psycho comes into the dormitories —  sees Max and her punk friend and without even thinking about it? He pull out a gun. So I fought him off. ‘ He’d say, his voice low just in case someone else may have been listening. ‘ I thought I was gonna die and I blacked out and… and .  . I dunno what happened but I just lost it. ‘ and GOD did he feel ashamed right now. 

Alyssa moved closer, her hand resting on his. So it was .... did he just say NATHAN? saved max --- ❛  you did WHAT? ❜ She needed a minute to process all that Warren was telling her. NATHAN - GUN - WARREN FIGHTING - BLACKING OUT. If it wasn’t for his current condition - she would have thought this was some big elaborate joke. ❛ from what you just said Warren, you had a right to lose it. It was Sirius Black who said ‘we've all got both light and dark inside us. what matters is the part we choose to act on, that's who we really are.’ you blacked out because of all the crazy shit like a.. gun. your actions stopped that crazy asshole hurting Max and her friend. it’s okay to let the darkness take over sometimes... just as long as you don’t let it consume you, don’t let it change you... you saved Max's life and the other girl as well. ❜

Alyssa had comforted people before, but not for serious shit like this. She was out of her comfort zone. ❛ he--- it’s just the eye right? y’not bleeding or anything? he never SHOT THE GUN? because if he did and you’re playing macho Warren, you need to stop. ❜
