Space Armada
Thoughts on Char Aznable x Garma Zabi from the Gundam franchise?
They're a semicanon boarding school romance (I say semicanon because the author of the manga has said that he knows people ship them, approves, and freely invites his readers to interpret their story as yaoi)
Basically Garma (purple hair) is the youngest son of a family with huge power that also has Char (blondie)'s father assassinated. Char tries to get close to Garma with the express purpose of killing him as revenge later - only...they become good friends. And I mean REALLY good friends
They later both become officers in the Space Armada™ and Char is torn between revenge for his father and therefore duty to his family, and the affection he has for Garma. Eventually (because he is one of the most self destructive characters of all time) he chooses to kill Garma. Spoiler alert: he gets drunk immediately afterwards while watching the guys funeral on TV and spends the rest of his life as the central antagonist of the franchise haunted by guilt! 💜
oh my god, YES. this is right up my alley - the guilt, the self-destruction, the pathos, the torn between two choices. give it to me, i want to roll about it in it.

Three not-Corneria songs in a row?! Madness! Nah it’s all good, gotta mix it up with this cover of Space Armada by TheOnlyDeerAlive again. He’s also done two other covers of Corneria that I haven’t posted here, but they’re worth checking out as well.
I must admit, I was not expecting a level this cool in Star Fox. I mean it was still a fairly basic space level, but interspersing it with the inside the ship sections, combined with this epic theme made for a really cool feeling level. It was very immersive. There was a lot of awesome level design actually. Sector Y was very chill and peaceful, with not many enemies and all the gigantic space waterlife, Fortuna was really neat as well, running over the different terrain and running into the different challenges. Macbeth too, with the whole cave like structure and needing to watch out for stuff on the ceiling as well. Oh and Titania, with the weather changing and me getting stuck in an endless loop cause I was dumb. Just a lot of fun level design in general.
