November 18, 2020 ... Omega Speedmaster still used on spacewalks... The 6 hours 47 minutes long spacewalk by Soyuz MS-17 cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Sergei Kud-Sverchkov outside the International Space Station reminded us of the fact that the manual wind Omega Speedmaster chronograph is still used during Extra Vehicular Activities (EVA = spacewalk). It was the first spacewalk from the Poisk module in preparation of the disposal of the little Pirs docking compartment.
