Milky☆Subway: The Galactic Limited Express
Note that the link works, you just can't watch it on Tumblr.
Chiharu and Makina are friends, and are also delinquents. After a recent crime spree, they and four other delinquents are tasked with cleaning up a space train, the titular Milky Subway, which quickly goes awry when the train seems to leave on its own...
It's a series that has an odd mix of lighthearted and cynical. All six delinquents are at their heart kids who want friends, strongly and positively reminiscent of The Breakfast Club. But it's also not fond of authority structures and corporations, for good reason.
It's also short, 11 episodes at three and a half minutes plus one at four minutes and forty-four seconds for a grand total of 43 minutes and 14 seconds of watch time (not including breaks and credits). It's short and snappy and a great watch in that time, so if you have an hour free put it on; you won't be disappointed, and it's free on YouTube.
Okay, so like, am I the only one who likes the idea of the space coaster (basically a train that travels throughout the entire universe). After re-watching Wander Over Yonder earlier this year, I was reminded of this hidden gem and I intend to incorporate it into my BoM Parent Scenarios
