Tbh I wish VLD had played up the Keith/Lance rivalry in the earlier seasons in a way that had it come across more as a genuine rivalry, with them competing over petty stuff and being way too intense about it.

Like that one scene in Some Assembly Required where they just completely forget the point of the training exercise cos they're too busy playing chicken with their lions and end up crashing head first into the ground is like...... iconic and still hilarious. They're so dumb around each other sometimes and I love them.

Thoughts on kl@nce? Romantic or platonic?

Y’all know my thoughts about platonic klance I live and breathe for it ahsdjfkghk it’s one of my favourite relationships in the show and I would give dreamworks all my money to see it explored and developed more like we were starting to see in s3. I just want them to be bros!!!! 

As for the ship I... think I vaguely remember being pretty into it back in my veeery early days in the fandom?? For a few months at least, probably mostly just cos it had such a heavy presence on my dash. I still enjoy romantic klance in small doses and there’s a lot of cute art that makes me smile haha, but these days like most ships I vastly prefer them in platonic context. It’s probably my BroTP?? Yeah. 

Love those goofy kids. They have such different personalities and they’re always gonna clash to some extent, but I adore the thought of them still trying to understand each other, to be there through thick and thin and still have one another’s backs. Hmmm good content

Me thinking about Keith and Lance becoming Real Good Bros who might not always 100% understand each other but always know when something’s up with the other and do their best to have one another’s backs come hell or high water and becoming comfortable enough around each other to just goof around and playfully bicker or train together and swap combat tips and just being real tight friends who love and trust each other like brothers
