IMMORTAL READER ! Since the egg (according to themselves) is ancient let's say that reader and egg are long term friends, so they get invited to the masquerade and the Egg knocks them out because they have a crush on the reader, and they want to keep them near them, so the reader wakes up in current time dream SMP by being splashed with holy water and becomes angry at the egg, so they go back in time with Karl to the masquerade and the cycle repeats for a while the reader not being able to remember the cycles, so one day before the reader goes back in time the egg reveals that the reader tried this countless times before and the reader is like "yeah sure right" because the egg broke their trust why should they believe them? So they do it again a handful of times this time remembering so by the end they kinda just lose hope and stay with the egg
