I decided to post some of the drabble prompts from this list and turn them into actual drabbles. They’re not in chronological order.
89. “You’re not interested, are you?” Steve + ?
“I- I’d love to date you.”
The silence after this confession was hanging thick in the air. Steve’s heart was beating against his ribcage like it wanted to jump out of his chest any minute. Why was his friend not saying anything? They just blankly stared at him with no visible emotions other than surprise.
This wasn’t good, was it?
“You’re not interested, are you?”, Steve asked, to get it over with, accepting defeat.
Suddenly a smile rose in his friend’s face, sending Steve’s heart into overdrive. “Are you kidding? Man, I’d love to date you, Steve!”
This, was heaven.
