Shit post entirely based on the fact that some of the primarchs have Xenos DNA, or straight up fucking animal DNA: Malcador, very stressed and somewhat confused: Why are the blood angels so blood thirsty? I get the black rage, that seems to some sort of strange thing to do with Baal, but why the red thirst? Emperor; entirely nonchalant: I gave Sanguinius vampire DNA *sips tea* Malcador: You did WHAT!? Why? Why would you do that?? Emperor: Seemed like a good idea at the time. I thought it might result in better soldiers and have them more enthusiastic to shed blood. I may have over estimated how enthusiastic it would make them. Malcador: .....and what of Sanguinius' wings? Are those also a product of genetic manipulation?" Emperor: Nah, that's just radiation from Baal and the warp. Oh and the little bit of Dove DNA I gave him, specifically white tipped. It was just a small amount. Shouldn't have done much. though his wings are weirdly white, so maybe I did white winged...? Hm, I can't remember. But, hey!
