Sangrai Tinto is a delicious sangria recipe with Spanish roots. It combines the full flavors of red wine with the sweetness of mixed fruits and a hint of citrus. Great for having people over or just relaxing at home on a Friday night.

Ingredients: 1 bottle red wine preferably Spanish Rioja. 1/4 cup brandy. 1/4 cup orange liqueur such as triple sec or Cointreau. 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice. 1/4 cup simple syrup adjust to taste. 1 orange, thinly sliced. 1 lemon, thinly sliced. 1 lime, thinly sliced. 1 apple, cored and diced. 1 cup mixed berries such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries. Ice cubes. Fresh mint leaves for garnish.

Instructions: In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, orange juice, and simple syrup. Stir well to mix the ingredients. Add the sliced oranges, lemons, limes, diced apple, and mixed berries to the pitcher. Stir gently to incorporate the fruit into the mixture. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight to allow the flavors to meld. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the Sangrai Tinto into the glasses, making sure to include some fruit slices in each serving. Garnish with fresh mint leaves. Enjoy your refreshing Sangrai Tinto!
