Two separate people have messaged me to let me know about xkit adding an extension to hide notifications.
While I'm wondering if that means I whined about it too much... I'm really tickled that you guys thought of me. That you saw a new thing and remembered my problem and messaged me about it.
That is so so sweet.
Thanks again to spankmecastiel and misguidedhunter67 for being awesome.
[part 1] In response to the Jonah and the whale anon. I took the 'don't step on that fish, big plans for that fish' line to be speaking of evolution. Saying we came from fish and tying it in with the tower of Babble really works for SPN cause you have those two plays on each other that make the big picture. Plus there are other religions and Gods incorporated into the show, so it only makes sense to toss a bone to Evolutionists.
[part 2] The add on of 'big plans for that fish' really is the reason I think that. Evolution supposedly wasn't EVERYTHING evolving at once. That one fish was the key to other fish being strange like it. That leads to land, then to no water needed, then two legs, monkeys, cavemen, and finally the humans we are today. So I personally don't think it was a Bible reference so much as an Evolution reference.
Yep, I agree. Both the "heaved itself on to land" and the "big plans for that fish" seem to indicate evolution. Especially since, as you said, they aren't true to any one religion or belief system. They aren't limited to the bible, but they can also pull a story or two from it. It's a weird, nice mishmash they've always had going on.

1. Most embarrassing memory? ;) Cheeky I know
Heh, I actually didn't have a good answer to this for a long time because I don't get embarrassed easily. But I STILL turn beat red when I think about how I became a human parrot the day I met Misha. We ran into him on the street and I just kept repeating the things everyone around me was saying. Earlier in the photo op I was so nervous I didn't even say hi. (The fact that my husband didn't either makes me feel better.)
2. Perfect man/woman??
Good heart, intelligent, loving, funny, goofy, geeky. My husband, basically. ;)
3. Theme for your wedding day?
Love. Because I'm a sap, and we didn't put enough effort into it to have a "theme."
4. Song to describe yourself?
Oh. Uh. Kudos to you, I've never been asked that. How about Bonjour from Beauty in the Beast. I always related to the song because of her love of books.
5. What adventure (according to your fave fandom) would you rather go on??
Uh, according to my fandom, I apparently want to take on the apocalypse.
6. Last song you played?
I was working on a side projct for my big bang. It was "If I Loved You" from Carousel.
7. Ideal holdiday?
Anything with family. For Thanksgiving and Christmas, we typically go to my grandma's house (still called that, despite her having been gone now for 10 years) and make way too much food and just be together.
8. last meal?
A Healthy Choice pesto chicken thing.
9. If you met your fave celeb, what would you say and do?
Apparently become a parrot.
10. Last time you cried?
Literally about an hour ago. I was writing my "unsung hero" song about my mom for gishwhes and well, did I mention I'm a super sentimental sap?
11. How would you like your OTP to get together?? (If they already are then you lucky bugger)
Man, I honestly don't even care, as long as it happens. I can see so many ways that it would make sense. I can see a tender, scared kiss. I can see a desperate one. I can see it not being explicit and we get an "accidental" pan over of them in bed together, sleeping. I'm really not picky on this, as long as it's in character, and I know the actors wouldn't let it be anything else.
My questions:

3) Favorite board or card game to play?

5) Do you have any personal superstitions?
6) Something you always wanted to do as a kid but never did.
7) Biggest item on your bucket list.
8) Favorite city?
9) Tell me something abnosome that's happened to you in the last month.
10) Favorite camping memory. If you've never camped, would you want to?
