he’d heard word of a sort of virus spreading just days before. some claiming it to be deadly, others comparing it to the common cold, but ben had dismissed thoughts of it due to everything else on his mind lately. he hadn’t even considered the possibly of contracting the disease himself. it hadn’t been an option. but now he was suffering from it against his will, in an area scattered with others who were sick, and it aggravated him to no end. sure, he understood the reasoning behind the quarantine, but it didn’t make it any better. at least being stranded on a planet allowed room to move about, but this was something else. even being confined on the supremacy for years at a time was optimal to this. suddenly his thoughts had been a matter of life or death, having heard more of the eventual symptoms that would inevitably lead to decease. so far the fatigue had taken over the most, as he fought to stay energized and awake to do whatever he could to come up with a possible solution. but it was no use; even walking a short distance had been leaving him overwhelmed. so he leaned with his head against the glass wall, impulsively banging a gloved fist against it, utterly furious with the situation. when he heard someone nearby, he didn’t dare look up, hating for others to even be seeing him in this state. “unless you have a way out of here and a way off this diseased planet, i suggest you back away.”
