Sparkler is a master treasure hunter. She can sense gems, shiny trinkets, and jewelry with her unicorn magic, and can often be found digging to collect them, or venturing into caves. She’s friends with Bangles, who makes fine jewelry out of her gemstone finds. She can be aloof, and very focused on her work, but she’s a kind pony at heart.

This is the Basic Fun reproduction of Sparkler, or one version of her anyway.

For whatever reason, Sparkler and only Sparkler had two different versions made by Basic Fun, the one matching the original with a red hair stripe and solid purple tail, and this version with a half purple, half red mane and matching tail. Kind of makes me wish they made versions of all the unicorns with two-colour tails, I think they look nice.

my favorite thing about creating characters is pushing my own interests on them. so naturally, petr liked g1 ever since he was made.

i got fed up with this piece quite quickly as i couldnt get the rendering right and didnt know what to do with the background, so i slacked off near the end. im still figuring out my style when it comes to animals, so it will be a while before things start looking right.
