I may be thinking about the wrong series because I’m not positive that you’re talking about Doctor Who’s daleks:,D
scott westerfield wrote an alternate history with a main character named alek. this leads to misleading portmaneaus

That suprised me honestly “These are???? Teens teens?? Not 40 year olds playing teens??”
kldsjfhdas yeah people complain about the acting but like. Christian Bale was only one year older than Jack’s canon age when the movie came out! Meaning he was probably the same age as Jack during filming! The only ones in their 20s were Blink (Trey Parker was 20) and Race (Max Casella was 24), that I can find. Jack’s the only one given a canon age in the movie, but one of the earlier scripts puts Spot at 19, and the novel puts Dave at 15.
Like rag on the acting all you want but!! I’m a fan of this!! Bring it back! I’d kinda rather have meh acting than people clearly in their late 20s playing teens!

Can anyone explain what "pen name" part means?
It’s just a name other than your real name which you go by online! It’s called “pen” because it used to be for writers to hide their identity, but now it can be for anything I guess ^^
