Inside each and every one of us, there are two wolves: one that wants more Twilight books and another that really really doesn't.
Please, somebody tell me that I am not the only one who tought this....
An illustration I drew for the Degenerates monster zine for this year. I (obviously) decided to draw a vampire. :D
Now that it’s separated from the rabid phenomenon that was the Twilight fanbase, the whole “sparkly vampires” thing doesn’t really bother me. I mean, there are plenty of dumb vampire things in fiction. Have you ever seen The Strain? They’ve got worms in them!
That said, vampires are cooler when they’re just a hair more sinister than brooding.
oh oh … Twilight. sparkly vampire at night . … it’s a twighlight
I LOVE JET SKIING!!!! I LOVE SURF BOARDING !!!! I'M SO EXCITED FOR LIGHT UP FLOOR !!!!!

Do you ever think the vampires in Twilight get attacked by wild life, like raccoons, magpies, ravens, etc, because they're sparkly?
Oh, ya, ravens and crows are part of goth culture, Twilight also is. But can you imagine just some vampire relaxing, sun bathing, and then a raven thinks "Oh my Odin, SHINY!!" and starts attacking the vampire? Or, at the least, just sort of perches on them and occasionally pecks a little.
Or raccoons just chilling with the shiny.
With that in mind, the sparkle vampires thing becomes a little more pretty.
Also, do you think dragons would try to kidnap them because Shiny?
Sparkly Vampires Blood.
The name, so many things went into it 😂, one the fruity fragrance is actually named Vampire Blood, and two, one of my favorite micas/glitter is Sparkle Plenty, so adding the two and I thought of a certain movie with certain vampires and tada! The colors are based on old anatomy chart for blood vessels and veins. This is a brand new technique called Squiggle Pour.
Featuring True Red Kit, Peacock w/ smidge of Tahitian Teal, Snow White, Here Comes the Bride with a big dash of Sparkle Plenty, Activated Charcoal with a little bit of Black Oyster.
