finally, chapter 6 of Prophecy of Heroes is up!! featuring a jason pov + his chat with Chiron, a call for action from his patron, a couple of other demigods gatecrashing the fun, and a possible solution that may get his memories back when an under-oath Chiron refuses to offer any help. plus more subtle additions that were kind of lacking in canon HoO to the personalities of characters like jason and annabeth

FINALLY started working on the 'jason ends up in hotel valhalla' au fic (with tj x jason endgame) that i mentioned back in this post so i decided to publish the first three chapters!!! a general intro chapter, the intro to act one (there are two acts/parts), and chapter one are currently up! check it out pls if you guys wanna!!

personally, instead of another book involving percy and co. (in which chances are their characterizations will be further demolished), I think rick should—and now hear me out here—write smth where jason ends up in valhalla instead of elysium and has to hide his real heritage for the sake of preventing another war while there’s (naturally bc demigod luck is the worst) trouble right around the corner and he, along with Floor 19, is tasked (yet another prophecy) to stop it

I mean. It checks all the boxes.

chapter three of the lost hero from my HoO rewrite au is out!! featuring a piper who has a different backstory relating to the wilderness school, a different relationship with her lineage, and more or less a pretty thorough character makeover!

also changes to the aphrodite cabin!

plus special featurings of katie & connor dynamics, piper getting into a mini spat with connor, a kayla knowles cameo, and of course rachel getting possessed

hey y'all remember this? and this? (aka the 'tratie instead of percabeth' HoO fix-it au I had thought up and posted abt?)

well I actually went and wrote the au! took me more than a year to plan at least a decent amount out (enough to actually publish the fic confidently), but here we are! mind you, tratie isn't the only major change from canon in this fic, this au is an excuse for me to try to rectify some big points of dissent in the canon HoO series, and I hope I will do it justice.

fr though this has been hanging around in my drafts, mocking me, until finally I decided to start 2024 off right

this may just be me, but Frank's bday being in June just doesn't make all that much sense? like idk it seems pretty left-field, which may seem dumb considering it's just a bday, but I can't see it for him. Piper maybe, but not Frank. imo Rick wasted a perfect opportunity to make Frank’s bday sometime in July bc a). Frank gives off Cancer vibes more than Gemini, and b). he could’ve connected Frank’s culture talking about July being the seventh month (aka “Ghost Month”) to his life being dependent on the piece of wood, which would’ve been really cool metaphorically and could’ve helped shed more light on his culture
