I just started 911, I'm part of the way through season 2. And I gotta say, Eddie's intro is HILARIOUS with what I know about how their relationship progresses. Especially with how immediately smitten Buck seems once he gets over the initial territorial/jealous/whatever

Im SO excited to see how we get from here to the current season!

I started rewatching the show while I do an art project and there's a scene in like mid-S2 during the Christmas episode where Eddie's like, "Are you going to ask?" and Buck says something like, "I didn't think it was my business," and Eddie says, "It's not."

Seeing that scene again was hilarious considering the fact that here we are in S8 and they are so far in each other's business that no one questions it when Buck is there showing the house with Eddie or the fact that Eddie was upset that Buck didn't tell him before he got a puppy (bonus points to Buck saying, "I don't have to tell you everything," and everyone giving each other a dubious look)

Like, sure, guys. Not the other's business. Sure.

Honestly, I've just been crying off and on all day since I found out and, like, I have thought about him off and on, usually when I'm out and something reminded me of them, and I'd think "Oh, I wonder what Bat's up to! I hope he's doing well," and I'd resolve to look them up on tumblr or facebook when I wasn't in transit or had finished doing a thing and then I'd get to where I was going, or time would pass and I'd grab my phone, but I'd have forgotten the thought until something else reminded me of him.

We interacted almost entirely here on tumblr, and weren't really in each other's lives, so this is a weird kind of grief. I've sent assistance when they needed it in the past, and I was lucky enough to send them something he was drooling over once upon a time, so I felt connected and I think he had the same kind of "my moots are awesome" feeling toward me, but I don't think it's fair for me to call him my friend. I would have been proud to do so, but I don't think I would have deserved that label from him. So I'm trying to give myself the permission to grieve and feel gutted, even though I feel like an intruder into the grief of people who knew him better.

I had basically stopped using Facebook by the end of 2023 so I wasn't on enough for Facebook to algorithmically show me his stuff, and we had like, no mutuals on FB anyway so I just wasn't going to see any of the announcement stuff.

They were such an incredibly special and wonderful person and I have missed them in my world, but somehow I always assumed that they were just still making his way in the world, you know? Now I know I will always miss him.

I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sorry if my post brought up more pain in his absence than joy in his memory. I'm very much feeling the pain today.

Hi Jessie! I just wanted to tell you something I thought was funny. I stumbled across a article a few minutes ago, titled "7 greek gods to avoid in the workplace" and it was.... About as one dimensional in it's representation of the gods as I would expect. But what I thought was funny was that Ares was #1 to avoid, due to being the god of war, and therefore impatient and angry. But... As God of war, he is Literally a Soldier? And would (one would think) have the whole teamwork and (1/2)

The whole teamwork and leadership thing down like it's nothing. And that's not even getting into the fact that everyone seems to find him to be incredibly helpful and patient. The others on the list were Dionysus for being a partier, aphrodite for being a flirt, hermes bc he's the god of theives (didn't know that tbh), and a couple other gods. It was uh... An interesting take. But yeah the Ares part made me giggle, I would love for him to work with me for a day!

Ares is EXACTLY who you want in the workplace. Well, who the workers want in the workplace not so much the higher-ups. But Ares is the driving force behind realizing you deserve better and demanding better by fighting for it. Better working conditions, better pay, child labor laws, anti-discrimination in the workplace, etc, all that comes thanks to the fighting spirit of Ares and the desire to protect those who need it. 

As I always say, Ares is the god of the people, not the system. So yeah he’s exactly who you want around when you’re trying to fight back against the corruption of Capitalism.

Opinions about Zuess and Artemis in the one episode of Supernatural? (Season 8 episode 16) ((probably not gonna be Good Opinions but I'm curious!))

I stopped watching Supernatural by that point but if it’s anything like their other portrayal of pagan gods I’d likely have hated it.
