Mr.S

A tribute fanart piece to one of my favorite characters in the Star Trek universe, played by Leonard Nimoy, Spock.

A series I started called "Phases of Distortion", a variety of famous characters that I like and creating my own version. A bit different than other fanart pieces I have done since I have certain "creating" rules to get the look I want.

The Love Devil

they call it love like it’s soft like it doesn’t have teeth

but this thing— this red, screaming, wing-torn creature— it doesn’t ask it takes

it wraps itself around your ribs pulls tight tighter until your heartbeat sounds like a warning siren

it laughs when you fall cradles you when you break then teaches you how to need the breaking

look at it— all angles and hunger and devotion running straight down a road it knows will end in fire

and still still it runs

because love isn’t safe it isn’t kind it isn’t clean

it’s a devil with your name in its mouth and a promise it never intends to keep
