Race Day is Here!!

This is it and I can hardly believe it. I am awake, dressed in my gear, and I've had my breakfast. Now I am riding in the car with my hubby and I still can't believe that I am about to step into the "arena" with my fellow Spartans. Three months ago I clicked the registration button on my computer and devised a training plan. I've seen ups and downs and a few set backs and frustrations with my training, but I have enjoyed every second of it. Now, there's a tornado of emotions and thoughts rolling through me. As our car eat up the miles I find myself switching between excitement and disbelief, doubt and confidence. However, I have promised myself that no matter what happens during the race today that I will enjoy myself, have fun, and not quit. The full reality of today's race will probably hit me like a wrecking ball of adrenaline as I step to the starting like. Thank goodness I love for that kind of rush. See you at the finish line!!
