Two walls pause the sky and call it architecture.
Here, space is not empty. It is calibrated. Measured in shadows, footsteps, the careful distance between strangers sharing the same rectangle of light.
And still I scan the geometry for a familiar absence, as if you might be hidden between planes of concrete and sky, as if every open surface were another place to look for you.
