Gwen had been pushing all the buttons on the big glowing console attached to the platform. When there was a sign that said ‘DON’T TOUCH’ and that sign had another sign stuck on it that said ‘EVER’ she just knew that she had to touch it. Sure, she had to totally K.O. some NPCs before she could get to the control panel but she was only ripping a hole in space-time to try and make things more interesting around here. She didn’t get to go on dimension-hopping adventures like all the other legitimate heroes, it was about time she hit the big leagues!

Not counting clones from her own universe, Felicia started to tick off on her fingers, this would be the third Spider she’d run across. Planting her hands on her hips she looked down at the young girl. “Let me guess... another Spider? How many of you are there?”

Noir was on his hands and knees, crawling around the floor amidst a bunch of unconscious thugs. He was searching the ground and under furniture, and occasionally, he would pick up a thug to see if what he was looking for was underneath, only to let the criminal drop carelessly back onto the ground when nothing was found. 

The familiar sounds of Peni’s mech had him look up. “Don’t come in here!” He warned. “My glasses fell out of my pocket during the fight. You might step on them.”
