Now that I have the Skunk Page™ for all my skunks, I get to rant about this:
I hate how skunks are stereotyped for their smell.
They're such pretty creatures and they're silly little guys, but the first thing anyone thinks of when they see a skunk is their spray. Like, yeah, don't get me wrong, it smells bad. Noxious, even. That's the point. But skunks don't just smell like that all the time, and spray is a fear response. If you're smelling a skunk, you're doing something wrong.
They are otherwise beautiful and inoffensive animals, and deserve all the love in the world. They shouldn't be feared or hated just because of how they reacted when you made them afraid.
