House Republicans started over on the search for the next speaker of the House after Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) was ousted last week.
They’re dropping’ like flies! 🤣
They should just elect a Democrat and move on. 🤭

The search for a world class speaker for our event...3am and almost there...
Phew. As I got into the elevator at work on my way home, I realized that I had worked almost 13 hours today, er, I mean yesterday. I got home at almost 10pm knowing that I had to put a couple of more hours burning the midnight oil to give our search for a world class speaker for our February CEO event one last hurrah. The past month or so has been frustrating. We went through and crossed out speakers like Malcolm Gladwell, Marcus Buckingham, Ken Blanchard, Faith Popcorn, Daniel Goleman, Jim Collins, John Maxwell, Colin Powell, etc etc but all were unavailable.
Finally, I have a positive sign from a world class speaker from Harvard and another one from MIT. Both are best-selling authors as well and are in Accenture's Top 50 Most Influential Business Thinkers in the World. Can't tell you who right now but...we're almost there....You'll all find out by next week.
Time to go to bed and get some rest. I look forward to our week long sabbatical / Christmas vacation in Baguio next week.
