I have a tendency to get lost in the day-to-day of my life. My days are filled with work, family, and responsibilities. It's easy for me to lose sight of what is important or miss out on God's leading because I'm so focused on the details of daily life. This is why my morning routine begins with God and ends with Him. Psalm 37:23 reminds me that God has a plan for my life and He will direct my steps if I will listen for His voice. When circumstances change or an impression comes into mind, it could be from Him wanting me to slow down and pay attention to something different in order to move forward in His direction instead of mine. Openness helps me stay open to all the ways He does not always communicate with me through a still small voice, sometimes He whispers and directs me to a scripture or book in the bible so I can dissect what He wants me to know. Message for believers and a seed to read for nonbelievers😍: We have to stop thinking we know what is best for our lives when we haven’t first consulted with the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit we are about as dumb as a box of rocks...IJS 🤷🏾‍♀️#speakGod...when it comes to this thing called life. We must fear God...yes fear His wrath because He is Holy. But also fear losing His love, fear being without His presence, and just the fear of Him not being all that we need. We must resist the enemy...things of this world...our flesh. I know it sounds easier said than done. If we just even cry out to Him and say, “Lord, help me to resist _________,״ He will hear our cry and move in a mighty way.
