Hello! Wondering what you think for a Thief of Void?

you've given me nothing. what does this thief of void do? do they knit or craft? rose uses her knitting needles as her first weapon, making her strife specibus needlekind. do they have training with weapons already? jade and dave do, and that's what they use as their specibi. did they inherit a weapon from their ancestor, like eridan and vriska do? karkat used the same strife specibus as troll will smith iirc. equius is strong enough to use his fists but wants to use a bow. john and jane use stuff they have lying around their houses.

who is your character? what do they do? what would they have available to fight with?

that said, void users (such as roxy and equius, and horuss as well altho i don't think we see him fight) tend to use broken weapons, or their bare hands. roxy uses rifles and broken bottles. you could go with the themes of empty and broken weapons for your void player!

Theoretically, a burgundy blood Maid of Heart who would prefer to heal but has an angry side.. what if they actually had minor healing that, when the burgundy psionic is added under great emotional duress, they could weaponize. It’s not a specibus, I guess, and as it is now it’s kind of vague.. but would it be plausible

oh i love healing magic turned harmful so much you don't even know. and yeah i think it'd be plausible! overclock a fragile heart and kill someone. plenty of healing plants in small doses are fatal in larger ones. absolutely go for it

What strife specibus would you recommend for a Witch of Heart who can split their body into two beings? One is falsely naive and likes to toy with people. The other is unapologetically scary and chaotic but kind. They both fight with the same specibus and are a little morbid.

personally i want people to actually do research on dissociative disorders before writing about characters who split like that and stuff but that’s not what you asked so

i would recommend maybe a weapon that also splits in half, similar to terezi’s cane sword thing. maybe nunchucks? i know those don’t split but it’d depend on how long the chain was of em

I was wondering, what are some weapons you might suggest for a jadeblood Doom player? She’s a member of the cloister (the order of Jades assigned to tend to the Mother grub), and is pretty religious as a result. She has a fascination with the end of the world as well, along with chemistry!

oh hello i love jadebloods and the cloister lore, i know in canon there's not really any troll religion aside from the fanatical worship of the condesce but like. honestly i would say maybe her chemistry and doomsday thoughts could lead her to creating bombs perhaps?

What kind of weapon would a rogue of light wield? Considering the ‘stealing of luck for others’, would it be something of a projectile weapon, or maybe like a multi-pronged melee weapon?

it would honestly depend on the individual rogue of light and whether they’ve had practice with a tool or weapon for most of their life (such as rose’s knitting needles, dave’s sword stuff, and jade’s lifelong training with guns) or if they just kind of... grabbed what they had available and the game just assigned that as their specibus (john and his hammer)

for example we see three characters use riflekind: jade roxy and eridan. they’re all so Different and they all use rifles for different reasons. eridan’s whole deal is that the Ahab’s Crosshairs was his ancestor’s weapon (similar to vriska and the Flourite Octet) and like. idk man it depends cuz ideally your character would have their weapon and stuff before they in lore even find out what their classpect is so if it works with their classpect that’s a happy coincidence

no give me context. what i, mod needle, personally think of bottlekind in general? what i think of bottlekind as used by x character or any character of y class or z aspect, or an xyz classpect character specifically? i need many details, weapons and specibi can be as important to an individual character as their name

Can I get some assistance with alchemy? I've got what I think is a neat character and I'm planning on giving her Candlestickind. This character is able to cast spells using candles - essentially weaponized aromatherapy and hurling fireballs. So sburb alchemy really amps up her arsenal of candles but what would using alchemy on the candlestick do?
