If you're trying to make it sound like you're not a speciesist fuck—which, honestly, you're gonna fail at regardless—referring to yourself as the "owner" of other animals is not very good form.

Need to get this off my chest...

I'm so pissed off at certain people right now. Speciesists. I've seen so many posts lately of people encouraging others to sign petitions against horse slaughter etc, which is great, but I can bet the majority of these people will happily chew on a steak at dinnertime, and that annoys me. If you're against the murder of one species, you can't draw the line at others. What makes the slaughter of a cow, pig or chicken, any different than a horse. Why is one seen as acceptable whereas the other isn't. All species are equal. We shouldn't draw the line. If you're happy to eat a cow's meat, you should be happy to eat a horse's. And if you won't, then don't eat the cow. It's as simple as that. Sorry. Rant over. :)
