A very late starter for @specter-siblings!
A lot of guardians were fairly understanding when their kid got in a bit of trouble; she’d never ever accept the term herself but like it or not, Nell was given the class of problem kids to deal with, but she accepted that they might just be expressing themselves and acting out for one reason or another and perhaps talking to their guardians would be a good help for all parties.
Didn’t make it any less terrifying when she would have to call them up to come to the school to talk, though, and today was no exception. She could feel horror pooling in her stomach, sweat building under her arms and on her face as she tried to keep calm, making, maybe a bit too much, eye contact with the man in front of her, a cracking and obviously faux smile spread across her face.
Look, the man hunts humans like her for a living, how is she not going to be scared out of her mind?!
“S-ss-so, M-Mr, S-Specter, how a-are you, t-today?” Perhaps starting with kindly conversation could ease the tension brewing inside her; if she ticked him off maybe he wouldn’t be too quick to kill her where she sat. “S-so- so sorry to b-bother you, I’m sure you’re very busy, w-with your...your j-job and...uh w-what you do, heh..”
