Land of Clouds and Electricity
Your land is a tough, slightly flexible and smooth, very similar to the texture of plastic, coloured in a dark green texture. Giant golden lines streak across hills and ditches, staying in an incredibly straight line the whole time. Occasionally, giant metallic structures stick out of these lines, linking lines up and criss-crossing over eachother. While these structures seem obviously man-made, they seem as built into the landscape as anything else. From the ground level, these structures seem odd with no link, but when you can see the whole planet, it becomes obvious. It's a giant motherboard.
Circling around the atmosphere of LOCAE are giant black clouds, covered with glowing green lines, occasional dots of light dashing across them. Despite these constant clouds, it never rains. This, as you would later discover from your consorts, is because these clouds are not clouds in the traditional sense. They are clouds in the sense of computing, as in they store data. The consorts have discovered a way to retrieve and store data within them. It is rather bizarre, but that seems to be the theme with all the things within this game.
