Hey, so I live in spain and people are really ophidiophoboc (I had to convince my petshop that I was buying mice because i give them to kids as prizes) and so the petshop I use recently stopped getting aspen bedding and only sell sand. I'm using paper towels right now but i don't really want to keep that up. Do you have any suggestions of what I should do?

Are you possibly able to order your bedding online? Or another good substrate to get is Cypress mulch (Not Pine or Cedar!! These can be real bad for your snake). Even if your pet store doesn’t carry it, you can buy it at like…a gardening store I believe. Newspaper is another often used bedding, but i guess would be linked up there with paper towel…

I’ve also seen people buy that fake indoor/outdoor carpet and cut it to their enclosure but that can be a little hard to clean on occassion.

look, I'm with you that dress codes and perpetuated rape culture are messed up, and straight fuckboys are, for the most part, to blame.
