So I haven't seen the Tobey ones in an awfully long time, but I do remember enjoying them a LOT and I really need to get them soon.

We're going to see Spider-Man today in about 2 hours and I am SO excited! I've seen everyone's thirst for Doc Ock just spike thanks to the trailer so I can't wait to see what's in store!

Now it depends how I feel after rewatching the Tobey series and seeing this new installment of Holland's trilogy, ya know I just gotta make sure I vibe well enough with the character! So after today, I can let you know 😍

Was someone going to tell me Robert Englund voiced the Vulture in The Spectacular Spider Man cartoon/kid show or was I supposed to find out myself by putting the show in English and not French ???0o

OMG YES, HE'S VOICED SO MANY ROLES!

The one that suits him SO well was Scarecrow from the Injustice 2 video game, but this one I knew about because my old boss and I watched this series during breaks and I pointed out his voice IMMEDIATELY. I can always pinpoint this man's voice lmao!

He also plays a character in Call of Duty Black Ops Nazi Zombies map!

This man has been in a lot of animated Marvel stuff and DC, like the Riddler in the animated The Batman show from 2004. So have fun delving into that!

1989 POTO Christine is honestly quite a badass ! Shot the man who once "taught" her,broke free from his entrance and chains,and killed him and got rid of him for the world (Or did she truly ? Did she 100% succeeded,since the musician at the end suddenly changes his music ? Who knows !)

Honestly my favorite version.His own greediness and want to become as popular as Mozart or Beethoven or who knows who turned against him as he succumbed to the devil and became a beast rotten in every way possible.Music is your whole life ? Then so be it ! And you will even die from it shall it be damaged beyond repair ! The plot reminds me so much of Faust,too,which was also used in this movie.An old genius perverted by the devil,falling in love with a young,beautiful woman who will be prey to his obsession in a way.And the music...Aah~

How many times have I almost cried to "Your Eyes see but my Shadow" ?

He is sensual and can be seductive,his tongue sharp but soothing,with a soft voice that can turn into beastly snarls.Which forces more the idea that he is extremely dangerous and as charming as he could be,he remains a toxic,deadly serpent ready to swallow whole the nightingale that Christine is.

I am so sorry for rambling a lot,but I honestly adore this movie and seeing some people talk about this version just made me go >:3 and just talk and talk and

Hey Spectre! I actually thought about thought about you when I got the ask so I was excited to see if you'd chime in! I appreciate your rambles and how passionate you feel about this particular movie, it's always nice to see you just pour yourself into what you feel!

There are always going to be two sides to the whole PotO thing because there are peoplesho are in love with the story and then there are people who absolutely despise the story for what it is. It's neat to see both sides of it but also to let people know that there are those who can differentiate between fiction and reality.

But I get where you're coming from and I appreciate the different outlook on the entire story! It's very wonderful to see 🥰

Englund's voice work... Oh yeah...~ You make me want to (for the...6th time ?) watch Phantom of the Opera starring him again.🤤 His voice...Ah~ "There is nothing you could ask,that I could refuse" or "Come back to me,Christine" or the way he says he is her angel or-or Gaaah I just love this version of POTO 🤤 My favorite Phantom 🤤

Well I mean, why not?! It’s a great film and I really adore that film! I love his version a lot and cannot wait to rewatch it for the podcast! 

His voice, the way he carries himself in the film, the VOICE (as you’ve said), it’s all too much for me to handle normally. I die every time. But do it! You will never regret it <3
