This piece was the only one I had to submit to Spectrum Fantastic Art 23 and it got in!  Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, my fav shrine in Japan.  Foxes are the messengers of the patron god Inari at this shrine.  Thanks to the jury.

The Spectrum 23: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art jury, composing of David Palumbo, Cynthia Sheppard, Kirk Thatcher, Charlie Wen and Terryl Whitlatch, have nominated the top five artist works in each of the eight categories - Advertising, Book, Comic, Concept Art, Dimensional, Editorial, Institutional and Unpublished - for a silver and gold award.

The winners will be announced at the Spectrum 23 Awards Ceremony held at the Society of Illustrators on Saturday, May 7, 2016.

All the nominated works are stunning, and above are my favourites from each of the categories.
