okay literally haven’t posted art in ages, but @sangled‘s spectrum squad characters are too fucking cute. and Ooijn is verr pretty,,,,,,,,

I did the “draw this in your style!” thing of @sangled I tried my best

I’m loving @sangled‘s oc’s so I felt inspired to make my own character based off of them

name: adriana esperanza czajkowski (she/her)

background: kraków, poland -> various countries -> massachusetts, u.s.a.

ethnicity: polish-dominican

family: geologist father and assistant teacher mother

birth: june 11th (gemini)

mbti: enfj (protagonist)

age: 20

power: index - able to fluently read and speak any known language. requires concentration in order to use, and if used for too long she can “get stuck” in that language. languages she learned before realizing her power are not affected by this.

background: 

adriana never had a solid place to call “home”; her family constantly moved from country to country ever since she was young, thus forcing her to adapt to new languages and cultures. when she eventually moved to massachusetts, she had been a junior in high school and wanted to settle down and go to college. so instead of following her family to their next destination, adriana stayed behind to continue her education.

being an only child and constantly on the move, one would think she would be lonely and reserved, when in fact she’s almost the opposite. everywhere she went she managed to make at least one new friend, and she still manages to keep in contact with them whenever she can. she is incredibly patient and communicable, making her fairly skilled in diplomacy. she enjoys studying about different cultures and customs in her spare time, though she prefers being with other people whenever possible, and because of this she can come off as clingy

she grew up speaking english, polish, and spanish, and is naturally fluent in them. she’s lived in 6 other countries besides poland and the u.s.: austria, portugal, china, cameroon, turkey, and chile

she has her mother’s last name instead of her father’s; he took her last name when they married

she loves collecting cool rocks, inspired by her dad and his job
