Especially with the scroll contributing to the illusion of falling sand?

The little emotional journey his face goes through from surprise to fulfillment to conviction when he’s greeted by the rabid love of his minions. It’s actually really sweet, and totally in-character for Bowser and his subjects, but also that guy is about to reject redemption so damn hard.

At some plot-critical moment the action is gonna stop and our little green bean man is gonna extend the Sicilian olive branch and Bowser’s gonna swat it away with a laugh. He’s gonna give a speech. He’s gonna fucking loom over Luigi and grin that maniacal grin and use everything he’s learned over their months together to tear him down. Accuse him of keeping him from his son, his kingdom. Trying to force change on him to rip him away from people who love him unconditionally. The happiness he was chasing was right in front of him all along and he almost lost it all to become Luigi’s pathetic pet turtle.

And Luigi’s gonna cry. He’s gonna feel so hurt, so rejected. He’s gonna wonder if he really was a bad person for trying to help Bowser. And then he’s gonna kick the Koopa King’s ass seven ways to Sunday.

They’re trying to sink Bowuigi and to do that they absolutely wrote Bowuigi angst.

Per Dawn Treader, Narnia is not (or at least, Caspian specifically believes it isn’t, and there is evidence against it as they approach the end of the trip) on a globe orbiting a star. That said, there is likely some sort of seasonal change in the land/sky alignment, since Ramandu mentions a southern winter sky in reference to Coriakin.

So. How was “always winter” (and never Christmas) accomplished? Did Jadis grab onto the local equivalent of axial tilt and not let go, also plunging the other lands into always [season]? Was it just a zone of cold over an area at least the size of Narnia? Did she somehow uncouple Narnia itself from the (meta)physics of the rest of the world?

Late in A Link Between Worlds, Hilda describes Hyrule’s Triforce as:

A Triforce based on such virtues as Power, Wisdom, and Courage.

Which certainly sounds like she’s implying Lorule’s Triforce was made of different traits

I wonder, given the way Yuga talks, if Beauty was one of theirs

So here's a thought.

In WoR Kaladin comes to the conclusion that the reason he's having trouble with his powers is that he's made two mutually exclusive promises. This gets resolved when he gets down to the root of his oaths, activates Protect Mode, and has the next set of Words.

And it occurs to me to wonder. If he'd gone the other way, if he'd managed to really believe that the other path was protecting the Alethi as a group, and gone for it with as much determination, would there be another (possibly a more difficult) path, another variety of Words, that would have also left him a Windrunner?

Current hypothesis about Superiority hyperdrives:

They’re motivators, a la Reckoners.

Per Rodge, M-Bot’s specs say that the spot for his cytonic hyperdrive is what seems to be an empty box

Per Hesho, such a box is what you find where the hyperdrive of a stolen Superiority ship should be

But when Spensa does the teleportation thing, M-Bot specifically says “cytonic hyperdrive online”, which doesn’t sound like a “new wet/hardware installed” way to put it to me

Per the overheard ftl-radio conversation on the way back on training day 1, Superiority drives are very likely devices, rather than living things

Per Spensa’s narration, such drives (or some system associated with them) scream all the way through the Nowhere, reminding me of dead Shardblades
