What I Love About South Park (And Its Fandom)
Okay, considering my first two essays were fairly negative and tackled more serious issues with the south park fandom, it's time to remind myself (and you, random tumblr user) just what's so great about it. I've spent more than enough time defining what to hate - now I'll talk about what to love!
Job Hopping
I feel like some people need to hear this. It’s OK to job hop. Job hopping is NOT bad. This past year I had a teacher who, on the first day, was telling us about himself and had us guess the amount of jobs he’s had before this one. Some people guessed small numbers like 1 or 2 Some people guessed a little larger numbers such as 10 or 15 But you know what? He’s had 40+ jobs throughout his life! He wasn’t fired from any of them, and some of them he had at the same time. It wasn’t necessarily because of any sort of financial issue, but because he wanted to try to find what fit him best and made him happy. So don’t worry, if you can help it, if you go from job to job. Even if it is from being fired or because you quit, you are being given the chance to find something that makes you HAPPY. Have fun and job hop, my dudes!
You've got a ribbon, a dastardly versatile thing. Cut it, tie it, stretch it, tear it. What is it still? A ribbon.
So why do we think we can do that to people? Why do we push and push and push against others until they break, thinking that if we do that, we can mold them into someone else and make them into whatever we want? Why change them when they are beautiful just the way they are? Why make them into something they're not? Why even try?
Because I'll tell you one thing about human nature. Humans are like diamonds. I know you've heard this before, but listen, listen closely. Humans are like diamonds, you put them under immense pressure, like debt, work, single parenting, and they harden to something unbreakable, something that nothing can conquer other than themselves.
You are a diamond. Only you can cut you down and when you are broken into pieces, you can build yourself up and back together into something even more beautiful than before.
Every time they turn the lights down. Just want to go that extra mile for you. You public display of affection. Feels like no one else in the room (but you). We can get down like there's no one around. We'll keep on rockin' . We'll keep on rockin'. Cameras are flashin' while we're dirty dancin'. They keep watching. Keep watching. Feels like the crowd is saying. Gimme, Gimme more, Gimme, More, Gimme, Gimme, More, Gimme, Gimme more, Gimme, More
*puts on sunglasses* ahem

Когда солдаты по ошибке убивали своих
http://civilization-history.ru/post/104072543611
Во время Отечественной войны 1812 года были нередки случаи убийства и ранения офицеров русской армии от своих же солдат, особенно вечером и ночью, из-за привычки офицеров говорить между собой по-французски.
