“I hate when motorcycles do x, why can’t they follow the same laws as cars?”
Because they’re not fucking cars. They have an engine between there legs and no protection. You have a multi-ton vehicle that could pancake them in 5 seconds.

Speed Wobble Will Be the Death of Me
Longboarding yesterday I shredded a little too hard.. right onto the pavement. It hurts alot. But, at least I dont have to go to school.
Death Wobble
I am traveling 70 miles per hour on a 390 pound mass with two wheels gyrating beneath me. It’s 45 degrees with 15 mile per hour wind gusts. My legs are freezing, my arms are freezing, and cars are flying by in the passing lane. I should have slept more last night, I should have drank less, and I really should have worn long johns today. I’m five miles from my destination; I can hardly wait for dinner and a hot shower. The handlebars on my motorcycle start to shake. It starts out as a dull pulsation, and it quickly turns violent. I blip the throttle to try to pull out of it. It is very apparent why people refer to this oscillation as the “death wobble”. I’ve allowed the throttle tube to snap back. Fortunately there are no vehicles next to me, who knows what’s behind me. I lean forward and stiffen my arms to the extent of my ability; they continue to slap back and forth. I eye the edge of the road, I’ll tuck and roll. The only thing on my mind is how much pain I’m about to endure. The handlebars have been shaking for what seems like a lifetime, then just as suddenly as it began, it’s over.

This is how I went down the first time; the infamous speed wobble. The Cause: a radially untrue wheel. Of course, as I was very new to riding, I set my weight back and straightened my arms while applying the death grip further worsening my spiraling situation.
