Finally it's done!!! This is why I made the Venipede model, just so I could recreate that artwork I made in 3D and use it as animation practice >:) Cliffy and Venipede my beloved........

Cliffjumper 3D model

Honestly I've been sitting on posting this for a while. I wanted to improve stuff before posting, but I think it's fine and its been a while since I posted :P

So the secret little project I hinted at a while ago was this, an original 3D model of Cliffjumper! I also rigged it because I wanted to use him for animations.

No plans to share the model rn since I'm not sure if the rig is up to my standards, but I might share it one day :D

Fav Friday extended again

AAA sorry about this guys!! I FR PROMISE NEXT WEEK THERE WILL BE A NEW PROMPT. My friend hasn't been able to work on his due to stuff outa his control, but he really wants to do the prompt. Alsooo I haven't finished either yet (could've finished today but I was tireeeddd 😞) so I decided to extend it to next week. Anyone is still welcome to join and make art for [this] prompt!

I should be done midway through next week, so I'll have something to post before next Friday!! But to make up for it, I will share my progress below the read more (spoilers for my fav friday submission ig lol)

3D CLIFFJUMPER WIN!! I decided this time I'd make a little scene with the Cliffjumper and Venipede models I have (might as well use em!) since I wanna mix in some 3D stuff with my usual 2D art.

For the finished version, I intend to add some animation (currently just got the poses in), redo the placeholder bush in the back to look nicer, mmaaybe do some shader work if I can be bothered, and add 1-2 more Venipedes to the scene.

Unrelated to Fav Friday, but I've been thinking on if I should maybe try make a Bumblebee model using cliff as a base. I don't mean a recoloured Cliff model, I just mean modifying the hip, helmet shape, and car to match Bee. It'd be fun to have another TF model to animate Cliff with...

Got expressions, eye rigging, and a better rig going for my Venipede model hehe now he's ready for me to actually use him for stuff!

I don't know if I did the walk cycle right for a guy with 8 legs, but I tried my best!

Sooo much better, now he's not just bones <3
