Jack's broomquet card has pincushions, I think proteas and other fynbos flowers in it! And that's super cool!
They're native to South Africa and endemic to the Western Cape! They're extremely beautiful, the fynbos biome is underrated.
Also fun fact: The Cape Floral region (mainly consisting of Fynbos) is a World Heritage Site because it's considered one of the areas richest in plants (contains 3% of the world's plant species!) and provides exceptional value to humanity worldwide.
Fun fact 2: The spekboom absorbs so much carbon dioxide that a lot of big companies plant them to make up for all the damage they're doing to the environment- its been proven that a thicket of spekboom is more effective than an entire rainforest in absorbing CO2!
