Writing a Spell: Tips and Tricks
When writing your own spell, it is important before you start to brainstorm. Make the outcome as specific as you can and keep a clear image of it in your head. For some people, it really helps to rhyme with your spell. If you have a specific deity you worship, it can help to include their name in it. As a specific request to them. Decide before you begin writing what type of tools you will need for your spell(exg: candles, water, matches, salt, wand). Once you have this decided, begin the actual writing of the spell. Include the specific outcome you want and make sure it cannot be twisted! Our own minds can twist our words, so be extra careful. When you’re ready to do the spell, make sure to follow your normal traditions(exg: casting a circle) for spells. When you say your spell, speak with confidence but not ignorance. Keep in mind you are speaking to deities and requesting their help, so being rude or ignorant can really ruin a spell. After you’re done with the spell, be sure to thank any and all deities you’ve called to. Another great idea is to burn the original paper you had, to give it back to nature and make the spell even more known!
